The Serbian public service broadcaster RTS has apologized for "insults, slander and hate speech" in its in programmes while Serbian strongman Slobodan Milosevic was in power.

The RTS Managing Board said in a statement that during the 1990s, RTB and RTS programmes had been "abused in order to discredit the political opposition in Serbia and its leaders and as part of the propaganda of the then non-democratic regime".....more...
