BELGRADE — In a country that nurtures a grudge about an event that occurred more than 600 years ago, once-fiery Serbian nationalism now seems strangely muted.

Thousands Protest in Belgrade Against Mladic Arrest

Several thousand people gathered in Belgrade on Sunday evening to protest against the arrest of Ratko Mladic, who may be transferred to the Hague on Monday to stand trial.

The Serbian Radical Party, SRS, has called on supporters to gather in Belgrade on Sunday evening to protest against the arrest of Ratko Mladic.

Hague Court Dismisses Seselj Request for Acquittal

The UN war crimes court on Wednesday dismissed a motion filed by Serbian Radical Party leader Vojislav Seselj asking that the indictment against him be dropped midway through his trial.
