Just Dozens Rally for Mladic in Belgrade

May 26, 2011, 7:41 pm Srecko Sekeljic, a Serbian blogger who contributes to the Web site of B92, a Serbian broadcaster, reports that just 30 supporters of Ratko Mladic, the former commander of the Bosnian Serb Army, gathered in central Belgrade to protest his arrest on Thursday.

In a note posted on YouTube with his video of the small band of “hooligans” in Republic Square, Mr. Sekeljic explained that they drunkenly sang “racist” folk songs extolling Serb nationalism. He added that “although the scene is unpleasant,” he was glad that there was no sign of the serious unrest “the Western media feared.”...more...
