The head of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP), Daniel Srb, said at a press conference in Zagreb on Monday that the fact that the government first sent the report on the fulfilment of the benchmarks in Chapter 23 (Judiciary and Fundamental Rights) to EU ambassadors rather than to members of the Croatian parliament showed "a servile mentality that does not expect praise from its own people but from Eurobureaucrats."...more...
