Ivan Vujacic, a former Serbian ambassador to the U.S., told local media that he expected Clinton to discuss with Serbian leaders the opening of dialogue with Pristina, as well as the future of constitutional reform in Bosnia and Serbia's EU integration.
“The priority issue will probably be the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, which she will encourage,” Vujacic told Beta news agency.
The streets of Belgrade are being successively closed as Clinton's motorcade passes through the city.
During the secretary of state's stay in Belgrade, the Serbian police have said that the highest security level is being applied, as was the case during last year's visits of U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.
Some 5,000 policemen are expected to secure Clinton's visit.
Clinton came to Belgrade from Sarajevo, where she urged Bosnians to find compromises and push forward with reforms.
She is leaving Belgrade tomorrow morning and heading to Pristina, the last stop on her Balkans tour.
