Ratko Mladic refuses to enter plea at war crimes trial

Ratko Mladic had to be removed from the courtroom during the latest hearing in his war crimes prosecution, as he refused to enter a plea and repeatedly interrupted the judge.

The former Bosnian Serb military leader yesterday said he would boycott the hearing as he demands the right to select his own lawyers.
