There are 4,290,612 people living in Croatia today, according to the preliminary results of this years’s census.

Croatia’s capital has 792,875 residents, Split has 178,192, Rijeka 128,735 and Osijek 107,784.
The number of Croatians has dropped by about 150,000 since the last, 2001, census, but Ivan Kovac, head of the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS), says that the numbers cannot be compared due to different methodologies applied....more....
