Opposition say they will oppose President Traian Basescu's draft bill, revising the constitution, as it gives the head of state too much power.

“There is a clear need to change the Constitution, but the best way to do it is seen differently by different groups. That’s why I'm putting forward a draft, which I hope will be discussed by parliament by the end of this month,” President Traian Basescu said on Wednesday.
