  • Ratko Mladic, the former Bosnian Serb general facing trial for genocide and ethnic cleansing during the war in Bosnia, is being "very co-operative" with the international war crimes tribunal and requires no urgent medical attention, court officials have said.

    A doctor and nurse examined Mladic, 69, at a jail near the Hague after his extradition from Serbia on Tuesday night and decided he needed no immediate care beyond the standard medical examination for inmates, according to John Hocking, registrar of the UN international criminal tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.....more....
