At the trial of wartime Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic, court expert Dorothea Hanson says that central Serb authorities used local crisis committees to implement their policy.

Presenting her report, Hague Prosecution witness Henson said that the transformation of municipal bodies of the Serbian Democratic Party, SDS, into municipal crisis committees was “a pattern of transforming party bodies into state bodies”, whose aim was to create an ethnically clean state.....more....
