Greece angered by Macedonian statue of Alexander the Great

Macedonia has ramped up long-standing tensions with its neighbour Greece by starting work on a giant bronze monument of Alexander the Great.

Workers in the capital, Skopje, have started assembling a 39 ft high statue on top of a 33 ft high pedestal in the heart of the city.
