What is a police state? A place where the friendly neighborhood bobby has been replaced by a pack of crew cut grim faced muscle men with police badges? If this is so, then Macedonia most certainly resembles one!
Sunday’s killing of 22-year-old Martin Neskovski in Skopje, apparently committed by a policeman on duty, came as a shock to many Macedonians. To make matters worse, the police kept silent about the murder for almost two days, thus creating the impression that they were trying to hide something. ...more....
