EU accession a tough sell for some Croats

As Croatia enters the final stretch of its accession process, political leaders face an additional hurdle: rallying popular opinion behind entry into the EU.
Integration will ultimately be put before voters in a referendum, although no date has been set. Support among voters, however, has been lackluster, and appears to have eroded further as a result of the current economic crisis.
