In its closing statements in the "Gotovina, Cermak and Markac" case in August 2010, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) asked that the three generals be found guilty and sentenced to 17-27 years' imprisonment, adding that the prosecution had proven that crimes committed against Serbs during and in the wake of Operation Storm were the result of intent of members of a joint criminal enterprise led by then President Franjo Tudjman, to eliminate the Serb population....more...
