The prosecution of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) has issued a nine-count indictment against three Croatian generals -- Ante Gotovina, Ivan Cermak and Mladen Markac -- holding them liable, according to their command and individual responsibility, for crimes against humanity and violations of laws and customs of war committed through persecution, inhumane acts, cruel treatment, deportation and forcible transfer, plunder of public or private property and wanton destruction during and after the 1995 Operation Storm.....more...
