Serbian president Boris Tadic has suggested that the former Yugoslav countries follow the Scandinavian model and share embassies in order to save money.
"Our expenses are enormous, let’s behave rationally so we can save more money to ensure a better life for our citizens," Tadic said.
The Slovenian Prime Minister Borut Pahor has commented that with such co-operation former Yugoslavian countries could solve not only the financial aspects of succession but also the inheritance of the former state’s embassies, the daily Jutarnji List writes.
