Dutch state to blame for Srebrenica deaths, court rules

The Dutch state was responsible for the deaths of three Muslims during the Srebrenica massacre, according to a court ruling which could open the path to more compensation claims by victims.

The three men were slaughtered by Bosnian Serb forces in July 1995 after being handed over by Dutch troops, with whom they had sought refuge.
