Croatia received less than €440 million worth of foreign investments last year, equating to as much as it attracted in 1996, immediately after the war.

Economists' estimates do not foresee any improvement in the near future, with one piece of analysis predicting that Croatia could attract between €400 and €500 million of foreign investment in 2011....more....
