The separatist Kurdistan Workers’ Party, known as the P.K.K., denied Monday that it had any connection to Sunday’s bombing in central Istanbul that wounded 32 people and caused widespread panic. The bombing coincided with the end of a two-month cease-fire that the group had declared to clear the way for political talks in an effort to end its conflict with the Turkish government. In two statements to the Firat News Agency, the group disavowed the attacks, and then announced an extension of its unilateral cease-fire until the end of the 2011 general elections.
