Officials: 60 Bodies Found In Man-Made Lake In Bosnia

August 11, 2010
Officials have said 60 partial skeletons have been found in the banks of a man-made lake in eastern Bosnia.

The discovery was made after Lake Perucac's water levels were lowered for maintenance.

Amor Masovic, the head of the Bosnian Institute for Missing Persons, on August 11 said the bodies were likely thrown into the Drina River, which feeds into Lake Perucac, during the region's bloody 1992-95 war.
