Croatian interior minister Tomislav Karamarko and his Italian counterpart Roberto Maroni signed an agreement in Zagreb on Tuesday that will strengthen cooperation between the two countries’ police forces.

Improved joint efforts are expected in the areas of terrorism, drug smuggling and illegal migrations.
The ministers noted that the two police forces have cooperated successfully in the past, and predicted better relations going forward, particularly after Croatia joins the European Union in 2013....more...
