In Houston, Texas, a family is deeply worried that a mother and her son will be deported. They are even more worried about what will happen if they are sent back to Albania.
The American asylum system is dysfunctional. Should 33-year-old Rudina Demiraj and her teenage son Rediol be forced to return to Albania, they will likely be kidnapped, trafficked into prostitution, and maybe even killed. And the US authorities know it....more...
